Are you a wizard with a sewing machine? Do you create incredible woodworking projects? Do you make imaginative videos? The Washington County Library System would like to invite makers of all mediums to show us your projects!<\/p>\n
The Library System will be hosting a Maker Showcase on Saturday, August 28, 2021 from 12:00 to 5:00 pm at the St. George Library. Entries will be\u00a0judged on creativity, use of materials, technique, and presentation. Winners will receive a gift card and one grand prize winner will be awarded a 3D printer!<\/p>\n
What do you have to do? Simply sign up here to display your work,<\/a>\u00a0 or pick up an entry form at your library branch. Entries can be brought to the St. George Library from 10:00 – 11:00 the day of the event. You can provide table decorations or visual aids with text. Please keep your display within a 2-3 ft. width.<\/p>\n The Library System offers 3D printers, scrapbooking materials, a laser cutter, sewing machines, video equipment, and more at the library branch’s Makerspaces.
