Washington Branch Makerspace Grand Opening & Ribbon Cutting

The Washington County Library System is pleased to announce the grand opening and ribbon-cutting ceremony of the Washington Branch Library Makerspace, 220 N. 300 E., Washington, Utah on Friday, August 28, 2020, at 3:00 pm. The public is invited
to attend.

The Washington Branch Makerspace will offer a new creative space that allows patrons unprecedented access to sound and music recording equipment, including a Midi keyboard, 14 channel mixer, and a soundproof studio.

Video recording equipment, including a green screen, will be available as well. The recording spaces are designed for recording podcasts, interviews, and other spoken work, as well as group video editing. These rooms include microphones and a computer workstation with recording and editing software. Training will be available for the equipment.

The Washington Branch Library Makerspace is a multidisciplinary space dedicated to exploration supported by both emerging technology and traditional equipment.
